FLiK Pickleball

The F3 Hybrid is the perfect paddle for (a) women who play frequently with power-hitting men and want to add power to their game, and (b) previous racket sports players who rely heavily on precision and control in their pickleball game. This paddle added a lot of power to my game, without sacrificing the control I rely on to play more advanced and harder hitting opponents. It also loses that bulky feel of many paddles out there now. And the weight is perfect for flexibility and agility during kitchen speed ups. Also a plus is the fact that you can get a base grip size that is smaller, which makes the paddle much more maneuverable for players with smaller hands or a smaller upper body. And you can always adjust the grip size with an over grip. My 4.0 male mixed partner also plays with this paddle, so it isn't just for women. But women over 40, I would highly recommend this paddle if you have a game that combines power and precision, and are looking for a price point too.

Even though it was a demo it was in perfect condition. It plays as I expected. Perfect.

I LOVE my new F3! It gives me so much control and just enough power. I think it has the largest sweet spot of any paddle I have ever played with (standard shape). Buy one. You won't regret it.

Flik Axon hybrid review ...

Well the Axon is an EPP core, all foam paddle that Flik keeps in its "Sandbox" (paddles that are not USAP approved, prototypes that may or may not be fully released). The hybrid paddle I received was 7.82 ounces stock. I added an over grip, 2.5 grams of weight to the top corners and 1 gram to the bottom corners. Final weight 8.2 ounces. Oh, the paddle is also very gritty. Here are my impressions after a few days of play:

the paddle has a slightly hollow feel, and it's soft (but not plush like the F3).
power/pop probably fits on the edge of all court and power categories; the F3 might be a bit more powerful (the feel of the two paddles are so different it is a little hard to discern). The overall vibe of the paddle is one of control, especially with soft shots, but it seems precise and punchy when doing counters. I find it to be more controllable/predictable than the F3 and less poppy (I confess to be a poor judge of a paddle's poppiness; I just know when it is too poppy and not poppy enough for me).
for a hybrid paddle I found the paddle to be quite maneuverable, even more than the F3 standard.
sweet spot, courtesy of the added perimeter weighting, is fine.
the quality of construction, like the F3, is superb.

I am actually thinking of maining this paddle for doubles. It makes me feel confident in my style of game (a 4.0+ player who makes heavy use of soft shots).

Should you get it? Well it is priced under $100, which is insane. But it doesn't come with a warranty and it is not USAP approved. I think it is the PERFECT paddle for those who don't do tournaments and are at the 3.5 - 4.0+ level. I hope Flik moves forward with this paddle, as is or with minor tweaks.

Great discount and extremely fast shipping

This paddle is amazing, and I'm not trying to hype anything up. This is the best control and predictability I've ever gotten from a paddle right out of the box. This paddle is for control, just like the description claims, and not just another marketing ploy. My wife bought me a Black Opal paddle and I'd choose to use the F3 Triple Core every time over the Black Opal, 100% of the time. The F3 Triple Core paddle arrived at my house only two days after placing my order, which is unheard of from virtually any modern business. The quality of both the paddle and paddle cover I received is unmatched by other brands. I'm also very happy I can support a smaller business that actually appears to care for its customers. If you enjoy control paddles that are high quality and priced extremely well, buy the F3 Triple Core before any other brand. I guarantee you'll be happy you did.

I found the sweet spot to be very good. The paddleis predictable when dropping or drinking. The handle has great length and a very good grip.. Plenty of power when needed.
