The FLiK F3: How Triple-Core Architecture Provides Controlled Power
Power is usually what catches your eye. It’s what sells paddles. It’s what makes you lean in and think, “This one could change my game.” But if you’ve been playing pickleball for a while, you know the hidden truth about power: The problem isn’t generating it. The problem is trusting it.
Most of us already have the swing speed. We know how to attack. But when a paddle delivers energy in sharp, unpredictable spikes—where the center feels hot but the edges feel dead—subconsciously, you start to pull back. You guide the ball instead of committing to it. You stop playing aggressively, even when the opening is right there.
That’s why we built the FLiK F3. We didn't just want to give you more pop; we wanted to give you the certainty required to use it.
The Philosophy: Predictability Unlocks Aggression
True aggression requires certainty. You can only swing freely when you know exactly what the ball will do as it leaves the face.
The F3 was engineered around a simple truth: When outcomes repeat, tension fades.
We moved away from the traditional method of stacking layers and instead developed a Triple-Core Architecture. This is a concentric design that treats the paddle face as a cohesive system rather than a single surface. By distributing energy progressively across three distinct rings (cores), the F3 solves the unpredictability issue that plagues modern power paddles.
The Tech: Inside the Triple-Core Architecture
The F3 uses three integrated core densities. They don't sit on top of each other like an oreo cookie; they work together to manage energy flow from the moment of impact.
1. The Center Zone (Stabilization)
This is your desired point of contact. In many paddles, the center is too "bouncy," leading to pop-ups.
-
The Tech: The F3 center allows for slight, controlled deformation at impact.
-
The Feel: It prevents that jumpy, trampoline-like rebound. You get a consistent launch and solid contact, giving you the confidence to swing harder without fear of the ball sailing long.
2. The Middle Zone (Energy Transfer)
As you move away from the center, performance usually drops off. Not here. The lower density provides more power in the zone where power would normally drop off significantly
-
The Tech: This zone smoothly hands energy outward from the center and acts as a firewall for vibration.
-
The Feel: This creates forgiveness without losing control. If you miss the perfect center, the paddle doesn't punish you. The PBCoR scores show an incredible uniformity between the center core and the second core.
3. The Outer Zone (Forgiveness & Stability)
The edges are usually where points go to die. The F3 utilizes the perimeter to save your defensive shots.
-
The Tech: This zone softens edge contact and supports twist resistance.
-
The Feel: The least dense of the three cores is EVA foam. It provides the most power but in an area of the paddle that is typically dead. It expands the quality hitting area (sweet spot) significantly.
How Energy Moves (Physics over Chaos)
When you strike the ball with the F3, you aren't getting a chaotic rebound spike. You are getting a sequenced response.
-
Impact is stabilized immediately at the center and the density of the foam provides power.
-
Excess energy moves outward through the tuned zones rather than shooting back up your arm.
-
Vibration is reduced at every transition point between the rings.
The result is a cleaner return of energy to the ball. We call it "Power without Chaos."
The "Sweet Field" Concept
We don't believe the sweet spot should be a dot; it should be a field, a Quality Hitting Area.
Because of the concentric zoning, power doesn’t collapse when you hit off-center. The feedback remains consistent across a much wider area of the face. This allows you to stop worrying about being millimeter-perfect and focus on your strategy.
And the sound? That deep, muted pop you hear isn’t just for show. It’s the sound of efficiency. It means less high-frequency vibration is leaking into the handle and more energy is going into the shot.
The Verdict: Three Rings, One Goal
The FLiK F3 changes your game because it changes your mindset.
When the paddle is predictable, you stop decelerating late. You stop steering the face. You start swinging through the ball again. Drives stay heavy, speed-ups stay aggressive, and counters become automatic.
The F3 doesn't ask you to choose between power and control. It gives you the predictability to master both.
