I think that after playing with the X5 it’s a bargain for what you get. The grit has held up well and it’s a very easy paddle to control dinks and resets.Very linear power available on demand. I have about 20+ hours of rec play on it from a 3.5 senior for perspective.

I don't recommend the wide face to beginners or anyone with weaker wrists. A wide face paddle can have mis-hits when contact is left or right of center. If you have more experience and stronger wrists to control a wide paddle, then this is a great paddle. It has enough pop for solid drives and I had great control on my resets. If you like a wide shape paddle, then definitely get the Body Helix X5.

i had a power paddle before not knowing too much about paddles when i bought my 1st paddle. After a year playing with my 1st paddle that had lots of power but having wild shots out of nowhere, this paddle has improved my game and made it more consistent. I get more winners on control vs. the power.

I have been playing for a year and half and this paddle does make a difference. I have more pop and control with touch. I have improved my volleys at the net as well.

Received my X5 and love it. First it's a great looking paddle. The spin is ridiculous. The power and pop is great. The pop at the net is controlled but can be lethal.
So far I'm 2 for 2 giving this company a 100% plus rating.

The X5 will not hold you back in generating topspin which it excell at. Slice generation is ok, but not special. I am still not used to the extra long handle as I typicallly place my index finger on the paddle while in contact with the butt of the paddle, but being extra long not possible for me. If I develop the two handed backhand, maybe ideal

I like the texture on surface that has good grit for nice spin serves ,the power and control with paddle is excellent. Highly recommend for intermediate to advanced players.

I accidentally ordered the wrong paddle. I immediately emailed so they could change the order.They answered immediately and assured me the correct paddle would arrive, even though they couldn't change the order. The X5 arrived as promised. It is a great paddle. When you hit the center of the paddle, it explodes with speed. I loved my Joolas, but I am now a body Helix fan
