I was interested in the new foam core tech and loved my previous purchase from Flik sandbox (Yellow Jacket) so I gave the F1 standard a shot. Right out of the box I thought it was amazing to serve with: great spin, good accuracy, and the power was top notch. I won several points on serve alone! I could dink well but had to be careful with speed ups until more “dialed” in to the pop. I was surprised by how well I did with resetting hard drives. And the power, combined with spin was great for drives.

Amazing paddle....gives one a high degree of confidence

I bought this paddle because I wanted to try a more square paddle but not pay a lot. Wow! What a deal! This paddle has lots of spin and is nicely balanced with good maneuverability at the kitchen line. I felt like I was able to block hard shots more effectively and move the dink balls around more strategically.

I played 8 games with this paddle today and I am very impressed. The first thing that caught my attention was how plush the paddle felt during impact. The paddle makes a slightly muted sound when it strikes the ball and is quieter than a polymer honeycomb core. It really pockets the ball and allows me to shape the ball. This is the grittiest paddle I've ever felt. It feels like super fine sandpaper! I get so much spin with this paddle. The F1 Terracore XC has insane control, high spin, and decent power. It plays like an all court paddle. The power was there when I needed it. I could effortlessly counter and put away balls while still keeping the ball in bounds. The biggest improvements I noticed were during blocks, punches, and resets. Sometimes when I play with poppy gen 3 paddles, my shots will ricochet unpredictably when blocking/countering hard drives or speed ups. The effect is amplified when the ball hits off center. This paddle is incredibly stable and forgiving. I highly recommend this paddle.

This is a great pickleball paddle! It strikes the perfect balance between power and lightweight design. Have both of the original TerraCore F1’s along with my newest paddle, the F1 XC.

Comparing this paddle to the F1 .007, both are super gritty, great power and pop. The XC is slightly heavier and has a little more control.

Super fun paddle, great price point, awesome customer service and company. Highly recommend for all rec players who need or would like to add more power to your game!

I’m a 71 y/o 3.5 recreational player. I play 4 to 5 times per week and I absolutely love this paddle. Every aspect of this paddle has exceeded my expectations. It’s super forgiving, stable, powerful, and yet very easy to hit blocks resets and dinks. I purchased a Gen 3 FliK about two months ago, and I like the FliK F1 XC better the the Gen 3 FliK. For $80, this is a steal. Since I received it I have played with it almost exclusively. Another great paddle Body Helix.

This paddle meets all the requirements you could ever need to play pickleball at any level.
It has it all, power,touch,spin and pop.
The Power is controllable but more than you will need. The spin and touch is top tier. No vibration when hitting the ball even off center strikes.
I highly recommend this paddle line as well as anything else they make.

This paddle is TONS of fun, even when I rarely drive with it (my style is more dink and drop and well, I was trying to avoid hurting people). As others have said, it's an overpowered paddle, but to stop at that or employ only a banger style with this paddle would be a waste of its potential. It has a unique combination of great dwell and high pop & power that can create ridiculous spin while still giving decent touch. With enough topspin, you can do unspeakable things with it. My favorite shot on this paddle is the angled drip on the 3rd against an approaching opponent, which have broken many ankles and made people literally fall over trying to get to the ball.

Besides drives, midcourt counters and flicks are also crazy dangerous. If your mechanic utilizes a lot of spin, the paddle becomes much easier to control. The dwell also helps a lot with drops and resets. I've tried other high powered foam core paddles, and feel I could control the F1 easier than those or the Joola Gen 3s. It also has good sweetspot and stability. There is no other paddle on the market like it, and will guarantee some "holy sh*t" moments on the court. Props to Body Helix for coming up with a wildly interesting paddle, and for the commitment to quality - it's a very well made product with great finish and details.

I have played the 007 Standard shape F1 Flik paddle for almost 3 weeks (4 plays a week) since bought it. The overall feel is good in terms of pop, power, spin, and control. However, the sweet spot is smaller than other brands like Joola or CRBN regarding the standard shape (16x8). The reason is the bottom hitting area is smaller due to the design of the throat taper is sharper so the overall hitting area feels smaller than other brands.
Although the grit of the surface is great and makes the handle length a bit loner, but the TW feels overestimated since I need to add 4 of 0.1 oz precut strips on both sides of the throat area to feel the stability. If the taper of the throat shape of this 007 can be the same as another Filk sandblaster paddle, this will be an ultimately amazing wide-body paddle.

Paddle is VERY high quality, grit is rough (Great for spins), and the paddle feel was different than most. Very fun paddle, however, I am having trouble controlling it as most shots, even returns will sail out farther than expected. Soft game is decent, but this paddle shines when pop ups happen, but besides that, alot of inconsistency and hard to control.

At first play I really loved this paddle. After about 2-3weeks I’ve grown to learn that I can only play with this paddle against beginners. This paddle has slight inconsistency and erratic moments of pop. Playing against anyone above a 4.0 when you can’t predict pop is futile.
My wife plays at the beginner level and loves this paddle. She has now taken ownership of it from me and uses it as her primary.

After 6-8 PB sessions adjusting to the paddle. Love the spin, love the lively ball response but still learning to control both. love the feel and balance.Break-In continues.

This paddle is fun. It’s like having a rocket attached to the end of your hand. Plush and powerful.

great paddle lots of pop, great control...

I love this paddle. Incredible pop, spin, and touch. I even love the sound. I demo'ed the new CRBN Styrofoam and I'll tell you this paddle is better in all phases. Can't wait till this is USA pickle ball approved.

One of the most powerful paddles I've tried and that includes the Mod-15. Amazing pop as well. One knock for me is trying to control this paddle. If technique is off, I’m sailing balls to the fence. For the price, great paddle to have in the bag to have fun with.

I have tried a lot of different paddles from the Shogun to the J2K. This is now my main paddle! Pop and power are great and the paddle has good grit for spin. The feel is awesome with nice dwell time. It took a little time to dial it in from a control perspective. I do wish it was a bit whippier at the kitchen but it does a good job. That could be specific to me since I tend to use 14mm and 12mm paddles. I tried different weight setups and decided it didn’t really need any in the end. Overall, the Terracore is a fantastic paddle and can’t recommend it enough. I look forward to what BodyHelix releases next (Hoping for 14mm version)!

At first i found it this paddle a bit hard to get used too. It's quiet and the sound it makes is different than all my other Body Helix paddles. I stuck with it...now I am amazed how great the response it is when hitting simple normal shots. My serves are landing deeper near the baseline and my return of serves are controlled and the pace is noticeable. My opponents are not hitting the ball to me...because of the power. Body Helix has been able to produce one of the best looking paddles with new technology. Everyone is asking me about the TerraCore product. Thanks Body Helix. Rick V. HSV Arkansas.
