Adjustable Shoulder Helix

After two years in my first shoulder Helix, I decided to change it up and get the fuscia version. This was not strictly necessary as my first Helix is still going strong after seeing me through five marathons, several half marathons, many fun runs, and all the training involved. The Helix has made a big difference in being able to continue running with post shoulder fracture complications including adhesive capsultits, a SLAP tear, and osteonecrosis. Aloha…I’m very satisfied with my Flik Adjustable Shoulder Helix! I’ve had issues with my rotator cuffs (3) from years of surfing! I chose not to have surgery and chose physical therapy (PT) instead. With PT, I’m able to do my basic, daily life activities!

I eventually stopped surfing and took up the wonderful sport of pickleball! However, my shoulder issues (pain) have flared up now and then! I continue my PT workouts and have used kinesiology tape (KT) when playing. However, putting on and taking off the KT became a hassle since I needed another person to help me.

A friend recommended the Flik Adjustable Shoulder Helix and shared that others have used it without having to be taped! And so far, it’s been working well for me! My only issue is that I sweat more because of the neoprene material (and that I live in Hawaii)!

I couldn't find a brace that supported my husband's shoulder, that was damaged in a very serious accident. Our family PT suggested this brace. From the moment we put it on, there was a sigh of relief. The true test was several hours later when I suggested taking it off. My husband said no thanks, I'll just leave it on.

Seems to help. Not sure it’s worth the $100 price tag though.

It helps when golfing but the problem I had was it was very hot to wear for entire round. Needs more breathable material. But sweating is better than pain!

Provides some desired pressure to help with pain. But makes me hot. Wearing the device all day makes me sweaty, and irritated at too of underarm.

Thank you body helix for this. Help a lot when I am doing anything that puts strain on my shoulder. Love it!

I was so excited to receive the brace hoping it would help with my separated A/C joint but sadly it wasnt what I needed and offered no support or relief during workouts or work, it was actually uncomfortable as it kept sliding around into my armpit and I had to constantly had to readjust it. I hoped it would help but in my case it didnt, no hard feelings, surgery is in my future Im afraid.

So the body helix actually helped with my shoulder pain. I used it for a 6 or 7 days and had to stop. Yes, the pain got better but the reason I stopped is because the material is not breathable would make my skin itch. I developed rashes that 2 weeks after are only getting better now. I want to put it back on to hell with the pain but the price to pay is just not worth it. Not worth it.

Trouble using my shoulder while playing volleyball. This wrapped around my shoulder has made a huge difference.

Over priced for the type of material.

This was a gift for my right handed wife. She is an avid, right handed, tennis player with an injury to her left shoulder. So far she has not found a comfortable way to wear the shoulder support. She continues to try to use it because she wants it to work.

After straining a shoulder tendon playing pickleball, I purchased a body helix shoulder brace.
Once I got the brace fully adjusted( cutting back strap to fit properly ) I was able to get back to pickleball without pain & good support of the shoulder in 4 weeks.

After 7 shoulder surgeries I was looking for support for my shoulder after another injury. It helped with the pain and feeling of looseness in my shoulder. It’s great!

I use the X-1 paddle which is great. I also use the shoulder and elbow compression products which without I couldn't even play at all. I am very thankful to Body Helix !

The shoulder helix helix is comfortable to wear, even under clothes. The design is elegant, and provides
excellent support for my AC injury. Nice piece!

Great product!

I'm turning 73 and still teach fitness classes. I've tried numerous bulky shoulder braces but they all inhibited movement. I bought a small and then bought a medium since the small seemed a tiny bit too tight. I find I sweat profusely while wearing it but I guess that is what it's supposed to do to hold it against your skin. It's very easy to wash and dries quickly hung up. I wear it under my sports bra

I have other body helix products that work fantastic! However, I am struggling with the shoulder harness staying in place and not sliding up underneath my opposite armpit and rubbing, creating redness and soreness. I watched the instructional video and did it exactly the way they showed it. I’m using this harness to help with a shoulder injury while I played tennis so it could be just all the movement is not conducive to the design. Disappointed and most likely going to be returning.

Gentle to the shoulder, keeps it warm, is comfortable and allows you to play with ease.

It’s very comfortable and not bulky. It provides support but doesn’t inhibit your movement which is what I wanted.

I like the sleeve very much, easy to put on and it gives my shoulder support. The only thing I don't like is the smell.
